This no-frills, legendary blues club originally opened in downtown Chicago and then expanded to Manhattan after reaching supreme popularity in blues scene. The music is a mixture of big names and lesser-known acts that only the most erudite follower of blues would recognize. Even if you don’t know anything about the blues, this club has big comfortable couches to sit and relax and listen to America"s most revered form of music. We don"t care how cynical, uncoordinated, timid, heartless, and/or boring you may be, this place will certainly evoke some emotion out of you. That is, if you"re not too busy cutting the rug on the dance floor.
